Answer is e. 1, 2 & 5 are correct.

Previous classification (1989) did not include a section on gingival diseases. In this classification, gingival diseases are classified into either dental plaque induced or non-plaque induced. Non-plaque induced includes a wide range of disorder that effect the gingiva.

3 is false: Periodontic-Endodontic lesions are an additional category in the new classification system.

4 is false: Characteristics common to all gingival diseases include reversibility of the disease by removing the etiology and precursor to attachment loss around teeth.
