When the indirect retainer lifts from it’s rest seat upon digital pressure to the distal

When a wash of alginate appears on the buccal shelf area more than .5mm thick.
If the natural dentition fails to pierce 2 pieces of 28 gauge soft green wax placed over the denture teeth while the remaining natural teeth in opposition are making firm contact.
If rotation and settling of the distal extension base or bases is obvious when alternate finger pressure is applied on either side of the fulcrum line.
